Cowboys vs Packers is one of the NFL’s greatest rivalries and it resumes Sunday at Lambeau Field – we have odds, picks, predictions & player props for you.
These two storied franchises appeared heading in different directions as they lock horns in a pivotal Week 10 matchup in Wisconsin with a 4.25pm ET kickoff, live on FOX if you’re watching on TV.
Dallas has won 6 of its last 7 heading in for a 6-2 mark – and the Cowboys also have the league’s best record against the spread since the start of 2021.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers meanwhile are on a horrific five-game losing skid which has seen them slump from 3-1 to 6-3. The latest embarrassment was a shocking 15-9 loss to the Lions in Detroit last week.
Cowboys vs Packers Odds
Unthinkable a few weeks ago, but Dallas is trading as a 4-point favorite as we head into gameday in Lambeau. The line actually started at 5 but clearly even the sportsbooks were uneasy about that.
In Moneyline betting Dallas is a -195 favorite (bet $195 to win $180) with Green Bay a +180 dog (bet $100 to win $180).
The Over/Under for Total Points right now is set at 44.5.
Spread Prediction – Dallas Cowboys (-4)
We have seldom been so confident about the Cowboys heading into the game. They’re healthy, coming off a bye and they have a big reason for really wanting to make a statement here – head coach Mike McCarthy.
McCarthy, whose teams remember are terrific coming off a bye, was run out of Green Bay following a long and successful run which included a world championship in early 2011. The narrative since has been that McCarthy and the Packers wasted Rodgers’ prime. He will absolutely want to rip up that script.
The Packers meanwhile are on that 5-game losing skid and really struggling to do anything offensively – Rodgers threw three picks for the first time since 2017 in Detroit and his body language was terrible. He literally melted down in Motown with nobody left to throw to.
Throw in the injuries last week to OLB Rashan Gary (ACL, out for the season), WR Romeo Doubs (high ankle sprain, out 4-6 weeks) and CB Eric Stokes (placed on IR with ankle and knee injuries) and we’re just more confident about the prospects of a Cowboys win.
We expect Rodgers and his crew to show more spirit in a huge game vs an old rival on national TV. But it just won’t be enough, take Dallas to cover -4.
Best Player Prop Bets
We have a nice prop for you people, get involved:
A.J. Dillon Over 38.5 Rushing Yards (-115, Caesars)
Okay so we are playing the percentages here.
Aaron Jones is undoubtedly RB1 for the Pack but he left the loss in Detroit with an ankle injury. Not serious but no guarantees it does not at least slow him a little in this one.
With that in mind the smart play is a small stakes investment in Dillon to get more time and cover a measly mark against a Cowboy defense which has only one slight weakness – yep, against the run.

Cowboys vs Packers stats
These two teams have met 37 times overall, with Green Bay leading the series 20-17. In regular-season play the Packers have a 16-13 edge and it is 4-4 in postseason play.
The Packers hold a dominant 7-1 edge in the rivalry since 2010. A bit like the dominance the 1990s Cowboys showed vs the Pack.
There is one constant in that Green Bay dominance though – the brilliance of Rodgers. Remember those playoff wins in early 2015 and 2017? Both down to his unquestioned ability to win games on his own. Not there in 2022.
The only Dallas victory over Green Bay since 2010 came in Lambeau – a terrific victory in 2016 when Dak and Zeke were both rookies.
